Why this program

As much as we love dancing, we have to be humble enough to recognize that the scene as a sub culture is full of multiple, inter related, serious issues and we cannot stay silent any longer. Everyone has a word to say on, yet very few, if not no one, is addressing deep pain points with real plans and at the scale needed to mitigate them. We decided to do something.

This festival representative program is an approach to build events around solutions developed together for our passion. Doing so, recognize the contributors for change, and reward them for their efforts.

A non-exhaustive list of goals through this program:

Reinforce women safety (abuse & misconducts prevention & care),
Improve gender balance.
Organize high quality events with comprehensive door prices.
Contribute to a better social dance culture and standards

Overall we are on a mission to build better dancing events.

Overview

Disclaimer / Warning: this is not a promoter program. We are not looking for people solely driven by financial rewards or economic advantages like discounts or advantages. Should you decide to join this representative program, please be aware that the intended goal is not the rewards per se. This is not a promoter deal. However, a reward is necessary and fair, and has to be different to boost your incentive to help drive change. The program is based on good faith, there is no hard constraint, no "police", no pressure. It's about you, your network, and your personal motivation to lead the change for a better social dance ccommunity.

Furthermore, an organization asking dancers to join a project with no reward or unfair reward, as noble as the project looks, is questionable in terms of ethics (not everyone wants to volunteer, yet even volunteers get benefits) and can be attacked. Therefore, we assessed that the representative role has to be tied to some basic business rationale, some model or mechanism of fair reward, financial and non-financial.

Through this program, representatives are featured on the event posts as official and high impact contributors of change The goal is for representatives to be empowered so their network can also grow and people can see them and use their representative codes without even knowing them: indeed the page and team members will spread their activities and efforts with respect to this program.

Lastly but not the least in case this is not obvious, this program is not accessible to anyone found guilty of any form of financial or sexual abuse, harassment or misconduct. This program is not accessible to any well known predator, rapist or abuser. This program is not accessible to well known defamator, fake victims or people with dangerous or extremist thoughts.

Cash commission capped at 210 EUR

Limits

THe Program is capped: we are only looking for 31 successful representatives that deliver full results. We move forward with representatives who demonstrate real leadership and ability to deliver measurable change. Representatives who become inactive are quickly replaced by candidates on the waiting list.
Rewards and benefits are non-transferable unless explicitly approved in writing
